Former US president Jimmy Carter recently called the US government an oligarchy. This is reinforced by a new quantitative study by Princeton’s Martin Gilens and Northwestern’s Benjamin Page that also finds that the US is an oligarchy. What this means is that a small group of people control the US government. I would go a step further and describe the US government as an empire run by a very small ruling class whose power derives from their wealth, which is a plutocracy.

These ruling class plutocrats control just about every aspect of our lives: public education, medicine, the monetary system, energy, the food supply and beyond. This is a major problem and will continue to get worse unless a large enough percentage of the population is aware and decides to take action.

Below are several solutions I believe are necessary to change things for the better with recommended resources at the bottom of the page. I’ll continue to update this page, so please feel free to comment and provide recommended links.

Decentralizing and Localizing Money

The US government and mostly all other governments borrow money into existence out of thin air from private central banks. This makes governments servants to private central banks and always works against the public’s interest. This affects everyone and is the root cause of our economic problems. It’s the cause of most of the world’s hunger and poverty issues. Governments do not need national debt and don’t have to borrow from private central banks with interest. We need to issue money on a local, decentralized level. And we should support a peer to peer economy, which is where two individuals interact to buy or sell goods and services directly with each other.

Promoting Health, Self Sustainability and Combining Western and Holistic Medicine

If our governments worked by and for the people, all public schools and other government efforts would teach and advocate organic gardening, farming, and self sustainability. We should all learn and advocate learning these things ourselves, too. I personally need to do much more of this.

We should also advocate combining Western and holistic medicine for the best possible outcome to prevent and treat diseases, and to promote health and longevity. Modern Western medicine has made and continues to make great advances, but it only treats symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation, or surgery. Those who profit off of Western medicine marginalize holistic practices because holistic practices can’t be patented.

Declassifying Beneficial Patents and Promoting Open Source Technology

The U.S. patent system faces a big problem: a market so constricted by high transaction costs and legal risks that it excludes the vast majority of small and mid-sized businesses and prevents literally 95 percent of all patented discoveries from ever being put to use to create new products and services, new jobs, and new economic growth.” And government military and intelligence agencies have imposed thousands of gag orders on certain patents under the guise of protecting national security. Some of these patents are classified to protect monopolies. Could some of these classified patents get us off of our reliance on “fossil fuels”? We need to know.

We should also promote and use open source technology. “Open source software is software that allows users to inspect, change and share the source code of the program. Instead of passive consumers of a program, users become part of a community to which they can choose to contribute if they are capable and inclined.

Legalizing Drugs

Portugal decriminalized all drugs over ten years ago and their drug usage rates are down by over half. There’s also an organization of US cops and criminal justice professionals called LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) that supports legalizing drugs. Legalizing drugs would free up police resources to fight crimes against people and property, make our streets and homes safer and significantly reduce crime, reduce the overwhelming prison populations, significantly reduce organized crime, save tax dollars, significantly increase drug safety, decrease the spread of disease and stop governments from participating in the drug trade.

Opposing War

The larger and more centralized a government becomes, the more war it spreads. In 1933, US Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler stated that war is, and always has been, a racket “conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes”. I recommend everyone read his entire speech.

Since the September 11, 2001 attacks, trillions of dollars have been spent on multiple wars based on lies. And just take a look at the Department of Defense’s (really offense) monthly funding priorities. Billions upon billions are being spent every month on our dime with nothing to show for it except for more and more death and destruction. War is and always has been done by deception and is not good for a sustainable economy.

Decentralizing and Localizing Government

Government is the system by which a geographically defined area and its inhabitants are controlled. History shows that the larger and more centralized a government gets, the more corrupt it becomes. If we want more freedom and prosperity for more people, we need decentralized, more localized government.

  1. I am new to your blog but after reading a few articles I really like it. This means I still am not too familiar with your general consensus of the world but I like what little I have seen.

I agree with almost everything you listed (I question mass food production without pesticides) but the most pressing needs like positive political change to repair what was once a constitutional republic or doing away with government altogether, and fixing our monetary system cannot occur if we remain fixated on political correctness. This is just mind control indoctrination to limit our thoughts, shape our opinions, moderate our speech, and influence our behaviors. This means that we cannot remain silent about some things that are taboo.

There is a solution to solving just about every man made crises in the world. And who knows? — maybe even some that occur naturally as well.

However there is a very powerful cartel which will stop it at all costs because any disruption in businesses they are vested in will be very costly to them. They control just about every media source (print, radio, television, films, Internet, etc,), the finance sector including all the money that is printed or coined, Big Pharma, and the diamond trade just to name a few. But that is not all. This cartel also hijacked our governments in the West — the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and yes even Australia. In Washington there are currently 11 Senators and 22 congressmen by this cartel but compose only about 2.1% of the entire U.S. population. Think they are over-represented here too?

Although they have their own nation (brutally dispossessed from the native people there) outside the U.S. (dual citizenship) there is one undeniable fact that cannot escape us. They control vast expanses of the globe and they won’t quit until they own the entire world with their tiny nation as the official capital of the world — even if takes another world war. Their cost and risk would be near zero because they fight all their wars through proxy (nations they control). They are even funded through proxy. This means that we do their dirty work and pay the costs for them. That is a win win for them and a loss loss for us. That is why they perpetually lean on the U.S. to invade Iran and have pushed us into Iraq and Afghanistan and are suspected in driving world wars I and II. . They were also key players in staging false flag pretexes like the Lavon Affair and the U.S.S. Liberty and likely 9/11.

But do not dare whisper the name of this cartel outside your closest trusted circles else they will charge you with their own special brand for racism, run you through the mud, and likely ruin your career if you happen to work within one of their many tentacles of influence in government or industry.

We need to be more bold about openly naming this cartel. It really is the only way. That is what will wake people up to the monopoly Israel and Zionism have on our world. I believe that is the first step to a real solution that will eventually lead us to positive change. I do not know how that change will occur but the first step is crucial.
